The Lyrics

StoryBoard
We have started on our story board, we still haven’t decided 100% sure yet what we are going to be filming, but we just have a rough idea depending on the lyrics of course. Also we found it quite hard as it isn’t one of the easiest genres to make a music video to, such as R&B and Hip-Hop they just contain a man dancing around in a club with woman, however to our chosen genre, we have to think more carefully of what the lyrics say and how we will have to relate it to the video.
Here at the bottom is our Storyboard, but there is still a chance we will have to make changes to it, if we have to.

CD Sleeve Research and analysis
Furthermore I have also picked one of Ludacris’s albums, his cover is clearly more for a fun and joke factor than a sensual, or sexual factor. This can be clearly seen with the humorous chicken and beer label and the fact that Ludacris behaves as if the female's leg is a chicken's bone. Also, this CD cover is supposed to be promiscuous and provocative, and rather controversial, because as well as humour it could count as hidden pornography, since the beer hides the woman's privates. In the background, you can see that there is a bar or a take-away environment, which could imply that the CD or the message being sent is rather social, to do with either having fun with people or socialising with friends.

This will help me decide what genre I would want to do, at the current time we still haven’t really decided what we really want yet, but were keen on like the Indie rock genre. Because the band we know plays Indie Rock. Also we could relate our video to so many other similar rock Indie bands such as Greenday,The Montreal etc.Posted by Azza at 01:55 0 comments
